So don't seat yourself! One of the managers Arlene could use some people skills. Also they will seat you for every meal, even breakfast buffet. Menus change for all restaurants daily and reservations required for al a carts. Italian was ale a cart and was excellent. Sandtrap has small buffet lunch and al a cart for dinner. Food was good! Main Buffet was breakfast and dinner. This is a small resort with 2 pools and large hot tub. Concrete paths looked tired and old, edging needing replaced, roof over the Sandtrap restaurant looked old and worn. The grounds were not kept up like I'm use to seeing at other resorts in DR and MX. Sliding doors had a gap on one end but didn't affect the doors opening. Furniture was dated, bathrooms dated but clean. My housekeeper kept me well stocked with anything I wanted and kept my room clean (I left a tip daily). Beds were comfortable, room safe, umbrella, robes, iron, coffee and tea provided. Water at resort is rough most of the time (which we loved the waves) but you can go to Sandals and get in water anytime.

We loved the area! Beaches are public so you can walk entire area, approximately a quarter to half mile of beachfront. Location is at end of the Gap next to Sandals resort. Taxi ride from airport was $40 US going and $35 US back plus a tip by our choice.
